All About Soul
There is a strange duality to my spirituality. On the one hand, I embrace a loving God. On the other, I am turned off by many religious practices that support that same deity. This time of year, I am continuously reminded that "Jesus is the reason for the season." But Jesus was himself anti-religion. In the spirit of this duality, I present my December playlist.

Kim,
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing another excellent play list. You truly have a talent of putting music to moments and to life in general.
It isn't about religion....Christ is about relationships and doing this life together, helping and loving each other along. Human beings have messed it up by being religious and not being real. Jesus is real and He has nail scarred hands reaching out to each of us in love asking to be THE love of our lives and cover a debt we could never re-pay on our own. He did that for us so we could be FREE.
Love you much my friend. I miss you.

like your blog! I work with Peter Bradley Adams and Kat Maslich-Bode, formerly eastmountainsouth. To thank you for being a fan, they're offering you a free song from each artist. Peter's Christmas song is "Snow Will Fall Tonight" and Kat's song "March" is off her brand new CD "The Road of 6". Both beautiful. Enjoy. Just visit us at www.misharmusic.com to get them. If you like, please care to share.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed Holiday season.
