Naughty

When I was in high school, my three best friends and I would hop into A's little red Manza and go cruising up and down the strip on a Friday night.  It was a small midwestern town, so that drag was from the high school down to the McDonald's with an occasional side trip to turn around at the carwash.  We'd giggle and grab the roof when her low-riding car would bottom out at a certain point near the railroad tracks.  We'd wave at friends, stop occasionally to chat, but mostly we'd jam out to our favorite tunes.  We'd inevitably listen to Prince's Purple Rain album at some point during the night, and would belt out our choicest naughty song, "Darling Nikki."  It felt good to be bad, at least until we got home to our parents.  So here's a dedication to my "old" buddies.  You might not play these for your folks (even though you're old enough now to play whatever you want) and you certainly won't be handing out the sheet music for your kids to learn the songs for the talent show, but dangit, sometimes you just gotta rock out to some of the naughtiest stuff you know, even if it's while you're cleaning house.
